As 2008 came to a close, lots of work and family kept me away from updating this site. Nevertheless, I was able to keep myself busy, but collecting a lot of different materials to be presented on this site. Lots of different philatelic literature including a large collection of the German Ottoman Postal Society (Argos) publications was added to my collection. In the coming days or months, interesting articles will be added to this site. In the meantime, if you have a favorite subject or articles to share, I would be more than happy to post those here.
Now, some of my plans going forward:
- This site will be officially open to general use. This means there will be activity in the forums – hopefully – with contributions from you.
- New articles I had collected from various editors will be added to the site.
- I would like to add the Turkish PTT issues official postal reference brochures as part of the stamp catalog. I believe there are more than 1000 of these sheets issued to date. I only have a fraction of these brochures: 70 to 80 in total. I need help to complete these as much as possible. Please send me a message if you have a good collection of these brochures and willing to share.
- Philatelic events will be added to the event calendar. If you see certain local events are missing please let me know. I will add them to the list.
